Chocolate Coated Bananas with Mixed Toppings

This is a fantastic, low sugar treat that is great to take to a celebration or eat on your own whilst binge watching Law and Order. It is of course vegan and can be adapted to suit your no doubt deliciously creative taste. Bananas are nutritional wonderland, taste great and make the perfect snack. Ingredients

  • 4 bananas
  • 200g vegan chocolate (I like 85% as it is lower in sugar and very rich)
  • 4 tbs cacao nibs
  • 4 tbs shredded coconut
  • 4 tbs puffed quinoa
  • 4 tbs chopped strawberries

Instructions

  • Peel bananas and cut in half
  • Melt the chocolate in a deep bowl and dip banana halves into melted mixture
  • Let the runny chocolate drip off the bananas before rolling in topping, or before sprinkling topping over chocolate
  • Place on baking paper and serve on forks or skewers
